The main effects of it were dry cough, runny nose, fever aches in the body as well fatigue. The first cases documented were among us troops during the first world war. 25-50 million people perished, establishing this event in the history books as one of the worst pandemics of all time

Nearing the end of the strike the NWMP (North West Mounted Police) were fed up and proceeded to shoot into crowds in a attempt at stopping the rally, they injured and killed many.

The Great Depression was a sad time in everyone's past where after the crash life was miserable. Low food costs but no money for food, the dole is a easy way out.

    The dole was a form of relief given out by governing offices and was either tickets for food rations or a small amount of money to tie you over for a while. Going on the dole was seen as a unmanly way out, as it was as easy as walking into a building and picking it up. Other forms of relief, like I said previously could be food rations, tickets for stores or a relief camp, also know as a labor camp would put men and women to work and get paid a very small amount of currency.
