The Treaty of Verailles was a peace treaties at the end of World War 1. This treaty ended the state of war between Germany and its allied powers. After 5 years of the assasination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, this treaty was signed in 1919.

This Presidenal Election tok place as effects of the 1929 Wall Street Crash. At this time, the Great Depression was being delt with. Many of the voters felt that because of the ecomonic crisis that was before them, Hoover should not be re-elected because he could not reverse the damage. That being said, Roosevelt ending up winning the election by 472 electoral votes.
