Dachau Was Opened
One of the first Nazi Concentration camps opened which later turned into a death camp. Many people of minority groups were forced to go there.

The Great Depression
The Great Depression made it very hard for people of minority groups to get a job even
if they may have been slightly more qualified than somebody who was part
of a majority group.

Many things were segregated in the 1930s, and one of these things included restrooms.

Ku Klux Klan
This was a group of people that believed white people were superior than other races.
The group was formed in the 1800s, however they still existed in the 1930s. It
became big again in the 1960s.
