Forest Removal Rates Fall
By 2005 rain forest removal had fallen 3,475 square miles compared to 6,950 square miles. -
Brazilian president Luiz Incio Lula da Silva speaks about the rain forest.
He explains that by using more efficient fuel production, the rate of deforestation has fallen 52% in the last 3 years.
