    Charles Darwin was born in The Mount, Shrewsbury, United Kingdom on February 12th 1809. He lived a life dedicated to academia. He was a Naturalist, Biologist, Geologist and was best known for his contributions to the science of evolution. His Death came on April 4th 1882. His colleagues ensured his burial in West Minster Abby. An Honor that speaks volumes of the man, his work and the respect his colleagues had for him.     Voyage aboard the HMS Beagle
    Charles Darwin sets sail on his five year voyage aboard the HMS Beagle. His study of different species during this voyage lead to his theories of natural selection and evolution. This voyage that Charles Darwin took is famous for several reasons. During this voyage he discovered the Galapagos Islands and his theories of Evolution and The Process of Natural Selection were also created during this voyage. The academic community today is still changing based on the theories of Charles Darwin.

    In 1859 Chales Darwin published on the the Origin of species. This publication would go on to teach that through evolution any species would either evolve fast enough to survive the changing world or they would dye out. This is what Charles Darwin would called the process of natural selection through evolution. The theory of evolution and the process of natural selection would later become known as Darwinism.

    Other major publications of Charles Darwin included, Journal of Researches into the natural history of countries visited during the voyage of the HMS Beagle. 2nd edition (1845),The Decent of Man volumes one and two (1872) and The Expressions of emotions in man and animal (1872). Charles Darwin was known as a Naturalist, Geologist, biologist and an author. His writings brought both support and opposition on his theories of evolution.
