Mayflower Compact
First Constitution in North America, was the first governing document of the Plymouth Colony. It was created to quell tension that had arisen after the mayflower had drifted to Cape Cod, instead of the Hudson river, which had thus made its original charter void. It unified the English Separatists and the rest of the travelers into forming a government and to follow all future laws and regulations of the colony. -

King Phillips War
War between New England Colonists and Christian Natives, and local indigenous tribes. Deadliest war in Colonial America History. Set future conflicts and relations between English Settlers and Natives. Started after a Praying Indian, John Sassamon, was murdered by Wampanoags after warning colonists that King Philip (Metacomet) planned on attacking them. It would come to a close after Metacomet was shot and killed by John Alderman. -
Bacon's Rebellion
First act of rebellion in the colonies. Started over a pig that was taken to settle a debt. Led to more conflicts with natives, as a militia led by Nathaniel Bacon seeked war with the Natives, the Governor refused to have more conflicts with the natives and arrested Bacon, who promptly resisted. He would go on to further conflicts with the Natives and would chase after Governor Berkley, and would lead to the burning of Jamestown. -
Philadelphia Founded
Quakers would found the city of Philadelphia in 1685, and it would become the first planned city in New England. -
