Arrival in Australia
As they arrived in Sydney they brought 543 convict men and 189 convict woman to start the settlement off. They first landed in Botany Bay, then they moved their way over to Sydney Cove. Also in this year they had their first male convict hanged for the crime of stealing provisions. -
Supplies are running low
As the Englishmans supplys began to run low, several people had been hung for the crime of stealing goods from the store because they were so hungry. Governor Auther Phillip inforced a rule that even if you are not convict you will get the same amount of rasins as they do. -
The Disease that stopped Australia
As small pox begins to wipe out all of the aboriginal people and approximately half of the aboriginal people died from small pox in Sydney because they weren't amune to the disease. -
Australian gold rush
The Australian gold rush is one of the most important parts in Australian history. The largest and most significent piece of gold that was found was 61 cm tall 31cm wide. -

The English government has declared that the a new State, Victoria has been separated from New South Wales.
