The Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre occured on March 5. It started as colonists throwing rocks and snowballs at the British soldiers. The colonists hit them with clubs and dared them to shoot. Eventually the British soldiers opened fire and killed five people. Paul Revere made an engraving of this only showing the colonists getting shot and the colonists were shown as defensless and shocked. This was used as propoganda to depict the British soldiers as evil beings. -
The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea party occured Dec 16th, as a rebellian to the Tea Act. It was done by British Colonist disguised as Mohawk Indians. They opened the chests and dumped tea into the harbor.
