    A war fought between British colonists of South Carolina and many different Native American tribes. This is because British colonists created colonies where Native American tribes existed.
  • Yamasee war ends

    North Carolina wins the war by 1717 they had defeated Yamasee, ending the war
  • Seven years war

    A war between Great Britain, Russia, France, Spain, Austria, and Prussia, Spain gives Florida to Britain in exchange for Cuba, France loses North American colonies.

    The industrial revolution was when societies became more urban and invented many things like the cotton gin, electricity, and the railroad.

    A riot that took place on King Street in Boston between American colonists and a British soldier.

    A protest in 1773 at a wharf in Boston Massachusetts. Colonist were mad because they were being taxed by great Britain so they dumped chests of tea into the harbor.
  • Declaration of independence approved

    Written by Thomas Jefferson, the declaration of independence is now celebrated in America on July 4.
