The Berlin Airlift was when the western countries delivered food and supplies to the city of Berlin through the air because all other routes were blocked by the Soviet Union. Great Britain, France, the US, and the Soviet union divided Berlin up into four zones. -

The document was a 58 page top secret policy paper issued by the United States National Security Council. The document involved decisions to make containment against global communist expansion an important priority. -

War between the Republic of Korea, and the Democratic Repulic of Korea. It was primarily the result of the seperation of the two countries. -
President Truman fires General MacArthur
Truman let go of MacArthur for making public statements that contradicted the administration's policies. He was the commander of the United Nations forces in the Korean War. -
Formation of the Warsaw Pact
The Formation of the Warsaw Pact is the military and political alliance between the Soviet Union and the East European States. It was a mutual defense agrrement between anyone apart of the formation.
