Like, young boys trained in barracks since they were seven and if they suffered any injuries, they were left in nature to die.

He was one of the first to believe that natural disasters were created and explained through science rather than the belief that the gods created them. Furthermore, in 585 BCE, Thales successfully predicted a solar eclipse because he was such a great astronomer.

    The Classical Age showed great growth for the Greeks in many cultural aspects including art and architecture. But, they probably say the greatest advances in philosophy. Many great philosophers came from this time including Plato and Aristotle.
