Jamestown was the first permanent English settlement in the Americas. It was created by the colony of Virginia and was burned down at one time because of Bacon's rebellion but then rebuilt. -

The Maryland Toleration Act was an act that passed religious freedom for Trinitarian Christians. It did, however, still declare anyone who denied the divinity of Jesus to be sentenced to death. -
Treaty of Westminster
The Treaty of Westminster was signed by the Netherlands and England, thus ending the third anglo-dutch war. -
Bacon's Rebellion
Bacon's rebellion was Nathaniel Bacon against William Berkeley who was the governor of Jamestown. Bacon got together a rebellion against him because Berkeley would not get a militia together to attack some Indians. It resulted in Bacon dead and many of his followers executed. -
Pequot War
The Pequot war was brutal. It was the Connecticut colony against the Pequot. Part of this war was The Battle of Mistick Fort, which resulted in about 400 Pequot people dead (Including women and chidlren) in the span of an hour.
