    Luna 1 was the first spacecraft to reach the moon. Luna 2 was launched a few months later.

    Luna 2 was the second spacecraft to reach the moon. It left the moon on the 13th. Luna 2 was simaliar to Luna 1 but Luna 2 was slightly greater in mass.

    Apollo 11 was the first manned mission of the Apollo mission. The crew was Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin Jr. They arrived on July 20th, 1969

    Apollo 12 was the sixth manned flight of the Apollo mission and second to land on the moon. The mission ended on November 24th.

    Apollo 15
    Apollo 15 collected 76.8 kilograms of moon rocks. The crew included David Scott, Alfred Worden and James Irwin.

    Apollo 16
    Apollo 16 landed on the moon at April 21st, 1972. The crew was John Young, Thomas Mattinglyll and Charles Duke Jr.

    Apollo 17 was the last Apollo mission to land men on the moon.
