  Apolo Anton Ohno was born in Federal Way, Washington.

  Ohno got back into shape, and made an admirable comeback after becoming overweight and struggling the previous year. However, he had a bad showing at the World Championships, and recommitted his career.

  After struggling in his first World Championship, Ohno didn't train and slacked off for a few months. Ohno did terrible at the Olympic Trails, finishing in last place, Ohno recommitted his career, and started training again.
