While Ralph is being a productive chief building huts, Jack begins his obsession with hunting. -
Bye, bye ship
Jack's hunt, although successful, distracted him and his hunters from keeping the fire going just as a ship was passing by that could have potentially rescued them. Jack seemed unmoved that he was the reason they weren't rescued. -
Sign from above
Ralph asks for a sign from the adults, and unfortunately they get a dead parachutist. They think the parachutist is the beast, which confirms their worst fear. -
Kill the pig, slit her throat, bash her in!
Simon rushes down to the beach after he discovers that the beast is the dead parachutist, but Jack's tribe attacks him while they chant. Simon is ripped and clawed apart by the boys. -

When Ralph and Piggy go confront Jack to get back Piggy's specs, Roger forces a rock to tumble down the mountain and crush Piggy. -
