In Austria, on 28,June 1914, the leader of Austria, Archduke ferdinand and his wife, Sophie, the duchess of Hohenberg was shot and killed by one of six Bosnian serb assasins by a man known as Gavrilo Princip.The entire asasination was coordinated by Danlio IIi'c. Many people believe that this event was what led to the outbreak of World war 1, which happened a month later. -

On may 7th 1915, at about 2:10 in the afternoon, off the coast of Ireland, a torpedo fired from a german U-boat, was sent directly to the ship and brought the entire ship down in 18 minutes. 1198 people on the Lusitania died. 128 of those people wer Americans.
