Sig: It started to make many people in England have a more rights. It also took power away from the king, so it was not a Absolute Monarchy anymore. -

Sig: This actually gave laws to the king, so making his power even more limited and gave the Perliment more power. It also helped the poeple. -
Navigation Act
Sig: These laws made the Colonies rely on the English, beacuse now they could only legally give and get things from the British. -
English Bill of Rights
Sig: This bill really helped the people, like being able to have a fair trial. It took away most of the power of the king and made it that the parliment had the power now. -
Proclamation of 1763
Sig: Many colonists did not follow the act and went west. Because of more laws tension and bad feelings grew between the English and the Colonists. -
Sugar Act
Sig: This was one of the first times the colonists cared that they were taxted. They said it was unfair because they had no say how much or on what they were taxed on. -
Stamp Act
Sig: This made businesses, newspapers, and other things have to pay tax. The Colonies didn't like it and it was another thing they complained about, about England. The protest sent to the king is a forshawdoing torwards the Declaration of Independence. -

Sig: This was a direct act against the king's taxed goods. They showed the king that they had enough and were going to fight for it. -

Sig: The Colonies are really getting mad at the king. You can tell they are done with the king and want to make him stop. This event shows that the Declaration of Independence is close. -

Sig: Now the king was not not just giving them more laws. The acts were life changing and unfair. The king was not controlling everything he wanted. -
Second Continental Congress
Sig: The Declaration of Independence was written because of this meeting. Also a military was formed beacsue of this meeting, showing the English they wanted their freeom and were ready to fight for it. -
First Shots Fired at Lexington and Concord
Sig: This a very important event because it was the first non-verbal fight between Great Britain and it directally influenced the writting of the Declaration of Independence. -
Declaration of Independence
Sig: This was the beginning in making the colonists free and made the revolutionary war about freedom. It also gave a ton of insults towards the king.
