Ptolomy thought that the Goecentric model was correct he thought that the planets and fixed stars were embedded in crystalline spheres that revolved arround the Earth.

Galileo Galilei
Galileo explained and gave visual evedence that supported the Copernicus theroy. He was the first aastronemer to use a telescope. He also discovered the law of the pendulem. -

Johannes Kepler
He discovered elliptical orbits, which is that the planets and other things rotate in an oval shape.
Fun Fact: He was also the first to explain corectly how humans see. -
Nicholas Copernicus
He thought that the heliocentric model was true. He thought that that the Earth rotated on it's axis once a day. He also said that the Earth rotateds the sun, and the moon rotates the Earth. -
Sir Isaac Newton
The Universal Law of Gravoity and Inertia (which he created) explains that Onein a same force pulls objects to Earth and keeps the moon in orbit. Inertia is a property of matter. An objects property of matter. An object's state of motion does not change unless a force acts opon an object.
