The point of the sugar act was to make the colonies pay taxes on sugar and molasses needed products throughout the colonies. -
Stamp Act
the stamp act was created to pay off the debt to the "Seven years War" saying every paper product must have a taxed stamp saying its been payed for. even there playing cards. -
Townshend Acts
The purpose was the same as the stamp and sugar acts only it was on products such as glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea. -

This was an event were 5 boston civilians were shot by british soliders trying to keep order in the town. some say it is considered a massacre, others disagree. -

the point of the tea act was for the british to expand there trade and sell there tea at the british colonies for a bargained price. -
Boston Tea Party
British tried to continue to tax the americans and in a revolt against the british they threw a whole ship loads of tea overboard. angering the british. -

this battle was actually between the times of April 19th 1775 to March 17th 1776. -

within the towns of lexington and concord about 700 british millitary men under the command of Francis smith were to capture and destroy the hidden supplies. -

it was a strong effort from the americans with a force of 1200 lead by William Prescott, but the british manage to win but the british suffer a lose of around 800 wounded and 226 killed. -

the point of the olive branch petition was to stop a extremely high end war against Great Britian. its main purpose was to sign the loyalty of Americans to the British. -

Main point of this battle between the Americans and British was for the control over New York City and the state of New Jersey. -

A document that began to shape the United States. Its purpose was a document saying that the 13 colonies where no longer apart of the Great Britain empire. -

a battle of the Americans against the Hessians who were with the British however the americans lead by George Washington still were victorious. -

It was fought in the area surrounding brandywine such as Chadds Ford, PA and the Brandywine River. et the british still captured the city. -

the city of Ticonderoga had been bombarded for a few days. however the americans were still able to capture a portion of the populated british diffenses. -
Valley Forge
he was stuck at this camp until Febuary 16th until 1778. which was the main point of the death of Washingtons forces due to the weather and disease. -
John Paul Jones captures the Serapis
john sales to britain and begins to sail around bombarding the coast. eventually after a 4hour battle he boards and captures a british ship known as the Serapis. -
Battle of Yorktown
the battle of yorktown took place in Virgina. and the first battle of the Americans with the French to there aid. there for the Americans were asured a win. -
Treaty of Paris (ending Revolutionary War)
The treaty made officaly ending the war between the British and the Americans a.k.a the 13 colonies.
