First a sweddish general went on a mission and peter was elected as the leader. They went through the delaware bay and kept going because it belonged to the dutch. They landed in present day wilmington, Delaware. He then named it new sweeden. As more people came he was elacted Govenor because he knew the most about the area. -
Dutch Take over New Sweden
The Govenor of new sweeden ends the peace with the dutch by building three forts. He then took a dutch settlement and the sweedish retaliated by briging soldiers. The Sweedish quickly surrendered and made a promise to stay peacefull with the dutch and they continued to live there. -

England Wanted back their land so they took soldiers to present day new york and the dutch had to surender because none of the citizens wanted to fight.So england took back their land. -

His sons hired two runners who ran the whole time and In the end they covered over 1,200 sq. miles of land. -

The English and French claimed to own the Ohio region and would not give it up.The French attacked and took over the english trading post and then built a fort to protect it the french were in the lead until the english atacked and took their main forts. The French even had Native Americans on their side but they lost. They were still fighting othes for three more years. -
Pontiacs Rebellion
The natives near the ohio region were not happy with the British taking over and their war policies. They fought back and destroyed many forts and killed many people. The brithish sighned a treaty and divided the land and fixed the war policy. -

Washington Moved to valley forge to get closer and spy on the British Army in Philadelphia.The americans were freezing and starving because of the shortages. A Prussian military leader came and trained the army to make them better and in the end they were but they lost many men. -
