Virginia
Virginia was founded by the London Company in 1607. It was made a royal colony in 1624. The major crop of Virginia was tobacco, which led to economic prosperity. They had a representative self-government and the Rights of Englishmen, and the House of Burgesses. When they came to the New World, many died because of diseases, starvation, and malnurtition. The government was not based on religion. The colony was meant to be temporary. -
Plymouth (Separatists)
Plymouth was founded by the Separatists in 1620. It merged with Massachusetts in 1691. It shared the same political, economic, and social factors as Massachusetts. They established the Mayflower Compact, which was an agreement to form a crude government and to submit to the will of the majority under the regulations agreed upon. William Bradford was elected 30 times as governor. The colonists were highly religious and believed in God's ways. They found economic legs in fur, fish, and lumbar. -
New Hampshire
New Hampshire was founded by John Mason and others in 1623. It was made a royal colony in 1679 and was obsorbed my Massachusetts from 1641 to 1679. -

Massachusetts was founded by the Puritans in 1628. There was a charter in 1629. Had a provinicial government. It was not a democracy. It was be theorcratic. They believed in God as their ruler and the government was made to enforce God's laws. They had many industries, such as shipbuilding, fur trading, fishing, and lumbar. The colonists believed that religion was a major part of their lives.
