    The Volstead Act is basically the same thing as the 18th amendment. Most people know it as the National Prohibitaion Act, which says you are not allowed to manufacture, sell, or transport alcoholic beverages that are illegal.

    The red scare started after the revolutionaries in Russia overthrew the czarist. Also they formed a Communist Party and several thousands of radicials and some were INdustrial Workers of the World.

In return he recieved over 400,000 dollars in kick backs. Then later he was found guilty of bribery and was the first American convicted of felony while holding a cabnet post.

    Lindbergh flew across the Atlantic Ocean and it was 2610 miles and he arrived in Paris the next day. It was a 33 hour flight and he was rewarded 25,000 dollars.

    In the election Herbert Hoover went against Alfred E. Smith. Hoover was a mining engineer and Smith was a career politician, who was govornor of New York 4 times. Hoover's major advantage was since 1920 he was able to point out years of Rebuplician administrations.
