The 18th amendment called for all alchol sales to be haulted throught the United States, The governments stance on the new amendment was, however, very light as the only sent out around 2000 officers to enforce the new regulations. This Amendment disallowed any state the right to not allow a citizen to vote based on sex. Basically this allowed women to vote everwhere, and was a big step in women rights. -

This was in violation of the Butler Act which outlawed such teachings. He was represented by Clarence Darrow, and was percicuted by william Jennings Bryant. Scopes was found guilty but was let off on a technicality, because of the intence Media coverage, the teaching of evoultion became a want for most classrooms -

Charles Lindenbergh crosed the atlantic by himsef, the first person to accomplish the feat and he was an American flyer.
