Pyramids
The oldest pyramid to date was erected back in 2750 BC for King Zoser. The biggest pyramid is Kufus pyramid. It took 20 years to build and 100,000 men. -
Papyrus sheets
Papyrus sheets were a form of paper used by Egyptians to write on. Papyrus sheets were formed by Papyrus plants being smashed into the really really thin. This was later made into scripts that they would put in tombs. -
The Calendar
The Calendar was used just like today to keep up with the days and plan ahead. There calendar was 365 days just like ours! This is awsome beause we do still use it today. -
Number systems
There number system includes fractions and algebra. Great right because we use both of them today! The Egytian were the first to create algebra. -
Glass making
Glass they were the first people to make glass and use it. -
Monuments
Monuments were big buildings or stone figures. The monuments were to show simples or like the sphinx to protect a pyramid. -
Obelisks
Obelisks were used for outside of there temples of worship. We aslo use a Obelisk today in Washington D.C. -
Irragation Systems
Irragation Systems are used for moving water to your crops to irragate them so they dont die. They are normallly small Canals with water in them. -
Medicine
Medicine was use to cure in Egypt but usally only the rich could afford it. Usally the Pharoahs were the ones getting cured. There Medicine was made out of plants. -
The use of ropes
The use of ropes is great for pulley systems or keeping something together. Ropes were also used in Mummyfication to keep there bodies together. -
Furniture
Furniture was used to sit on and relax. Egyptian were one of the first people to make Furniture. There Furniture was made of sheep fur.
