Dred Scott vs. Sanford
The Dred Scott vs. Sanford decisions led to abolishing slavery and the Supreme Court declaring all people who are born in the U.S. to be considered citizens of the United States. -
The Lincoln-Douglas Debates
A series of debates by Abraham Lincoln versus Stephen Douglas. There were seven of these debates and each of them lasted for three hours. -
The Election of 1860
