Hurston moves to Baltimore Maryland. She is 26 now and she lied about her age to get a high school education. She goes to Morgan Academy. Zora claims that she was born in 1901. She graduated high school the next year and she goes to Harvard University. -
Greatest Accomplishment
Hurston's book "Their Eyes Were Watching God" was one of her greatest accomplishments. It was a great American Novel. In 2005, a movie was made from her book. -

Zora Neale Hurston was married two times. Her last marriage ended in 1943 She married Herbert Sheen in 1927 to 1931 and She married Albert Price in 1939 to 1943. She had no children. -
Obstacle she overcame
In 1948, Zora Hurston was falsely accused of molesting a 10 year old boy. Later she proved that she was not in the country. She felt betrayed by her own community. This false accusation ruined her reputation. -
Death of Zora Neale Hurston
Zora Neale Hurston died January 28,1960.She died of hypertensive heart disease. She died poor and alone. Hurston is buried in a grave in Fort Pierce Florida. It was unmarked but it was found and marked in 1973. -
