On March 1st, a group of armed civilians kill a wedding guest and injure a priest, and on March 2nd the whole city becomes full of barricades.

A group of people trying to cross the Vrbanja bridge were shot at, and one girl was killed, and in her dying moments she said "Is this Sarajevo?" Also, the Baščaršija was destroyed.

2 bombs explode on a street while Zlata's mother was nearby.
