  • Stage 6: Intimacy Versus Isolation

    Robert is 25 years old and is getting married to Florence.
    This is a great commitment and requires a great amount of trust and intimacy. Love and a healthy relationship is the goal at this stage. There must be security at an individual level for their union to come together. This relationship could have a crisis if both don't retain their autonomy. In the sixth stage of Erikson’s psychosocial development theory, young adulthood occurs between 18 and 40.
  • Stage 8: Integrity Versus Despair

    Robert died at the age of 75 along with his wife and 9 children by his side. This is the realization phase the thoughts of how short his life is and the desire to do things differently set in. Robert has some regrets of course. This is the last stage of psychosocial development from 65 years of age to death its referred to as maturity.
  • Stage 6: Intimacy Versus Isolation

    Ayanna got married to her best friend Arwen on June 12th, 2018 when she was 28 years old. The crisis that could arise is if there are poor coping skills and one partner would much rather isolate than be vulnerable with their partner. This can lead to failure in the relationship. They are young adults between the ages of 18 and 40. They are in the sixth stage of Erikson’s psychosocial development theory.
