    The causes of the enlightenment are a never ending thirst to know more about what is, a dissatisfaction with the answers given by society and religion and anyone or anything else. The effects of this event were; seeing the world and the universe in a different way, the ability to receive answers on your own morals and no one else's and freedom from fears and meeting of peace in its best form

    Captain Cook discovers the East coast of Australia
    Cause: He left England in search for new land and he stumbled acroos the east coast of Australia. It was his desire and passion to make a new discovery.
    Effect: The effects of this voyage were the discovery of the east coast of Australia and the settlement and new colonisation of english people in Australia.

    Involuntary Migrants Part 1
    Cause- The cause for thousands of Involuntary Migrants was the Free settlers need of slaves because they did not want to build, they desired convicts as slaves in Australia. The secondary reason for the migrants was that the prisons in England were getting to their capacity and beyond and needed a way out to compensate for the numbers of convicts.

    Effect: There was two major effects that were formed from the Voluntary Migrants, one postitive and the other negative. The positive of this event was the beginning of the Industrial revolution in Australia and the colonisation of Australia. The negative effect was the 'The Stolen Generation' a time where the English took the Indigenous Children to be taught at their Facilities. Which has broken the relationship between Indigenous and non indigenous people of Australia.

    Voluntary Migration
    Cause- Many poor, single man were attracted to the wide open spaces of Australia and the thought of owning enough land to become wealthy caused them to migrate to Australia.
    Effect- As the major part of the free settlers were men it became very one sided population. As odd as 4 men to 1 woman, this problem caused the invention of the Bounty Scheme
  • The Second Fleet

    The Second Fleet
    Cause: The cause of the second fleet was to transport as amny slaves/convicts they could over to Australia from Europe to start their colonisation of Australia.
    Effect: The effect of the second fleet was that it was a complete failure due to the 258 deaths on the voyage to Australia. It cost too much money to feed all the convicts they crammed on board.

    The Assination of Franz Ferdinand
    Cause: The Austrio Hungarian Government had taken a large majority of Serbia. The Serbian government was mad and was known to have setup and fund the weaponry that the assasination group used.
    Effect: Sparked a series of events that started the first World War, which killed many people.
  • WW1 Started

    WW1 Started
    Cause: An Arch Duke named Franz Ferdinand being murdered in the city of Sarajevo by a strange suspect named Gavrilo Princip. This started a series of events that led up to the beginning of the World War.
    Effect: The world war effected many peoples lives with over 17 million casualties known. 10 million of these were people of the military and the rest civilians.
  • Battle of Gallipoli

    Battle of Gallipoli
    Cause: The attack on Gallipoli was a mistake of Wiston Churchill, who was first lord Admiral. He wanted to directly attack the Turkey that was considered the weaker ally of the central empires. Unfortunately, the expedition went wrong because the British landed at a point on the coast inaccessible and well-defended by Turkish troops organized by German officers.
    Effect:The allies involved (Australia, Britain, France, New Zealand) recieved a massacre from the ottoman defenders, with mass
