The gatling gun was invented in 1861 by Richard J Gatling and was patented in 1862. The gun was capable of firring continusuly but it required someone to first crank it. It was well know for its use during the American Civil war in the 1860's. This was a fantastic and uesful invention as the indeiginous peoples didnt have the resources to defeat the gun . -

The overland telegraph line was completed and the first communications between Asia and Australia were stablized. The first message took 9 days to reach Adealiade. It was created to help communicate and trade with conutries outside of Australia mostly Asia. -

Landing At Galiopoli
The landing at Galipoli was the first arrival of ANZAC troops in World War One at ANZAC cove. Over 12,000 troops arivved at the beach from boats , but the turksish army were waiting and hiding in the cliffs and mountains and mowed down over 2,000 troops. Australia was forced to participate in the war as Australia was under control by the British who were already taking place in the war and needed an allie to help them .
