Japanese internment camps
Over 60,000 of Japanese American children were in concentration camps in WW2. FDR started Japanese internment camps through the executive order. The U.S reacted to the bomb of Pearl Harbor so they made concentration camps. The U.S took all the Japanese people to prevent them from buying land and return them to their forms.

In 1944, the allies decided to open a western front by invading Nazi-occupied France. Operation overload (D-Day) was the largest land and sea attack in history. The Normandy invasion was deadly, but the Allied victory created a western front and allowed the allies to push towards Germany from the west and the soviet army pushed towards the east, forced to fight a two front war.
