    This event was very hard for the US we went into and deep economic depression and a lot of civilians lost their homes, jobs and basically almost everything that they owned because they had no money to keep these things.

    On this day at 7:55 a.m the Japanese planes attacked the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. At first the U.S just thought this was some kind of drill but come to find out it was an attack. This bombing killed more than 2,300 Americans. It completely destroyed many of the Americans battleships.

    People today call it the turning point of WWII or The Battle or Normady. On this day the Allied powers invaded Northern France and won. This event was the first big victory for the Allied powers.

    This was a meeting between the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. During this conference, the three leaders agreed to demand Germany’s unconditional surrender and began plans for a post-war world.

    V Day is also refrencd to victory day because it is the day that the Allied forces made the Nazis surrender all of their armed forces and this event also ended WWII.

    At 8:16 a.m. The U.S dropped a bomb that went by the name of Little boy on a city in Japan named Hiroshima. This bomb killed about 90,000–146,000.
  • Bombing on Nagasaki

    Bombing on Nagasaki
    Three days after the U.S. dropped the bomb on Hiroshima they dropped a bomb that they called Fat man into the city of Nagasaki in Japan killing 39,000–80,000 people.
