    On September 7th, The Germans came across the channel in about 1,000 planes, and had bombed London leaving many civilian hurt, and about hundreds of death. Hitler had attacked because on September 5 Hitler was frustrated by the rafs superiority and the bombing of German cities.As a result of the bombing, the raid continued for 76 night, and the German Luftwaffe had been aiming for the civilians living homes damaged.

    The lend lease act is the act that was presented in march of 1942 that allows the U.S to provide aid to other countries without actually engaging in war. As a result to this, it did provide aid for other countries but it brought the U.S one step closer to engaging in the war.The reason why the united states signed this was because they did not want to be in the war.

    On December 7, 1940, There was a devastating attack on the U.S Naval base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. In the morning of this day over hundreds of Japanese fighter jets attacked and severely damaged the U.S Vessels, killing thousands. Japan and the U.S Had been getting closer to war for a decade, and a major reason pearl harbor was attacked was because the U.S cut off japan of some major supplies like oil. As a result to the attack many lives where lost and vessels damaged, Leading to ww2.

    A few days before, German and Japanese officials met to discuss war, and on the 11th, the U.S received a declaration of war against Germany. Hitler decided to join the war because they were surprised that japan had attacked, but saw that japan was stronger than ever. The real reason was because of the failure of the new deal and president Roosevelt attempted to cover up for the collapse of his economic agenda.

    On the 7th of June, the United states was victorious in the battle of midway, but thanks to code breaking the U.S was able to Intercept a planned ambush. This was a significant turning point in the pacific campaign. As a result to there was significant damage to the Japanese, leaving the U.S with the lead.

    On July 17, 1942, Germany had decided to invade the Soviet Union in one of the greatest battles of World war 2. Hitler had invaded because it was part of Operation Barbarossa, and is near 2 important trade routes, making it ideal to take over. Germany, believing they would win, lost. As a result of this battle, there were over 2 million of deaths and Stalin had decided to push west, remaining there for the rest of ww2.
