Hitler is named leader of the Nazi Party in Germany
By 1921, Hitler spoke to a crowd of almost six thousand people in Munich. He publicized this meeting so he started gaining reputation besides from the Nazi Party. Hitler began to spread his movement to the rest of Germany.
They made an alliance with some socialists from Augsburg to weaken Hitler. He announced his resignation from the Party.
Hitler announced his return but with the condition that he was chairman and was given dictatorial powers. -

Also called Pact of Paris, it was a alliances agreement which attempted to eliminate war after World War I. -
Japan invades Manchuria
Chinese soldiers were claimed to sabotaged the railway, and attacked China. The Chinese didn´t fight back because they knew that Japanese just wanted an excuse for invading Manchuria. -
Enabling Act of 1933 is issued
This law passed by the German enabled Hitler to assume powers as a dictator. The Nazi Party, Party, the Centre Party and the German National People’s Party voted for the act. -
Neutrality Act of 1935 signed
The 1935 act imposed trading in war materials and arms with all parties. This also mentioned that all American citizens who where traveling on warring ships were doing it at their own risk. The act was set to end in six months. -
FDR wins a third term as president
Franklin Roosevelt is re-elected president of the United States for a third term. -

Was a program which enabled Franklin Roosevelt to extend aid to countries whose he felt fate was vital for U.S. defense. -
A Philip Randolph’s march and Roosevelt’s response
A. Philip Randolph proposed a march on Washington to protest against the discrimination in the military and in the industry. He called African Americans from all the United States to join him. Roosevelt issued an order which called employers and labor unions to end discrimination when hiring in industries related to defense. Because of Roosevelt’s actions it was canceled. -
Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor
The navy of of Japan Empire launched an attack to the U.S. Navy base. Almost 2,400 Americans were killed, 19 ships got damaged, and nearly 300 aircrafts were destroyed. This attack made United States to get into World War II. -
Adolf Hitler declares war against the United States
Nazi Germany declared war to United States, as a response to a series of what was called provocations by the United States, the US was officially neutral during WWII. The decision was made by Adolf Hitler. Later, United States declared war on Germany.
