Germany invades Denmark and Norway. Both countries have a different way of dealing with it. Denmark didn't fight back instead choosing to fight without fighting. Norway thought that they could actually take on Germany. -
Germany invades the smaller countries
Germany is now really starting to invade, invading Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Luxembourg accepts defeat without trying to fight. The other two however, want to fight and lose. -
German forces break through the Ardennes
The Germans break through the Ardennes Forest area north of the Maginot line, which was a surprise move. Doing this they cut off British and French troops in Northern France. -

The Dutch, like everyone else, has fallen to the German, even with the British support. -

Hitler bombed Britain with hundreds German plane nearly every day. -
America says No more materials for Japan
Japan, being a not that big of an island, doesn't have many materials, so they get other nations to sell them these materials However, America stops sending materials to Japan because of their mass gathering of land. -
The Axis are completed
The Japanese sign a pact called the Tripartite, or Axis, with Germany and Italy. -
Britain is Defended
Hitler thought that he would be able to invade Britain, while his German air force, the Luftwaffe, could drive the RAF out of the skies. They couldn't. The RAF drove the Luftwaffe from Britain. And Hitler never thought of invading Britain again. -
United they stand
The 26 nations of the Allied forces then pledged that there would be no seperate peace until victory was theirs. -
Britain Off the Hook?!
After all this time in the war and the bombing campaign Germany did, Britain announced that they would no longer have the money to pay for the war materials the United States have been selling them. The U.S. congress granted president Roosevelt to lease arms and supplies to countries he thought would be beneficial to the protection of the U.S. There was a lot of tanks, guns, planes, and other war goods frome America to Britain and the other Allied nations. -
America is a Major Donator
America gives the Allied countries so many war goods that it earned the name, the Arsenal of Democracy. -

America, being the good guys and gals they are, officially declare that Greenland is under their protection for the rest of the war. -

All the fighters are in
two and a half hours after their attack on Pearl Harbor, Japan declares war on the US. -

The Americans and Japanes battle for Hawaii islands. The Americans lost a carrier, a destroyer, and 150 planes. The Japanese though, lost four aircraft carriers, two heavy cruisers, three destroyers, and 330 planes. -

General Dwight D. Eisenhower lands in French North Africa. He alllows the Allies to take the key points in Algeria and Morocco in a few days. -

They finnaly win back Stalingrad, Kharkiv, and Smolensk. -

The US reclaim Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands. -
