    America bombed Japan twice to get Japan to surrender, whoever was around the Atomic Bomb they were scared for life, really scared.

    May 1941, Germany broke their truce with the Soviet Union. After 6 months Germans were defeated by the Soviet Union.
  • Iwo Jima and Okinawa

    we defeated the some Japanese people’s island because we attacked the weaker islands by doing island hopping and we left the stronger islands with no supplies.
  • Battle of Midway

    the U.S. stopped a Japanese navy fleet from attacking our islands. It was fought in the air and on water.
  • Pearl Harbor

    December 7, 1941, the Japanese attacks the U.S. naval fleet, destroying 8 battleships, 300 planes, and killing 2,403 Americans. Our planes were out in the open, making it an easy target, because We thought the Japanese people living in America will sabotage the planes.
  • Battle of the Bulge

    In 1944, Germany tried to take over Russa, but winter took hold of them. Germany suffered 100,000 losses.
  • Normandy Invasion (D-day)

    On June 6, 1944, a sad battle went on killing thousands of American soldiers. 156,000 American, British, and Canadian armies laned on the five beaches on the coast of Normandy.

    May 8, 1945, Germany was defeated, ending WWII
  • V-J Day

    Sept. 2, 1945, Japan surrendered after America dropped two bombs on them.
