The Allied forces invade France during WWII. The Allied powers entered in Normandy, France trying to push back Germany. D-Day, code-named Operation Overlord, was one of the largest military operations in history. D-Day was originally planned to be on June 5, 1944, but because of the weather the Allies decided to push the invasion back a day.
