    The struggle to hold the US and Britain trade routes created a turning point for The US to join the war. After German U-Boat Attacks on Merchant Ships.
  • The Battle Of Starlingrad

    The Russian winter put a stop to the German advance. Later on the Germans were surrounded with limited supplies.
  • Invasion Of Italy

    U.S troops invaded Italy forcing their new government to declare war on Germany.
  • DDay

    Heavy casualties of over 2 million allied troops. Later France was destroyed from German occupation.
  • Battle Of The Bulge

    Germany led a Counter Attack in Belgium. Which pushed back the US Army putting a large gap between the boundary's. Which also made both sides of the war increase casualties as it was the largest and end of the war.
  • The Battle Of The Iwo Jima

    American forces lost about 25,000 casualties out of 100,000 troops against about 25,000 Japanese. Also the US awarded 27 medals of Honor.
