    Hitler joined the National Socialism party the year it was founded, in 1921.

    Franklin Delano Roosevelt is elected as the United States President. He is later elected three more times as Preisident of the United States. This was thought of as a form of a dictatorship by some.

    Hitler and Stalin signed a Non-Agression pact with each other that prevented them from attacking each other and let them do their own thing. This pact would make room for Hitler to fight a western front and then an Eastern front. If this pact was not signed Germany might have been fighting a two front war.

    Adolph Hitler committed suicide in his underground bunker. He first swallowed a cyanide capsule and then shoot himself with a pistol.

    Japan agrees to surrender to the Allied Powers. After two atomic bombs dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki (two major Japenese cities at them time) Japan surrenders. Japan did not intend to surrender after the first bomb, but after two bombs they decided they would not be able to take any more bombings.
