"Holocaust" is a word of Greek origin meaning "sacrifice by fire." These men in power, also known as Nazi, beleieved they were superior to the people they oppressed.

    Hitler was burrowed away in a refurbished air-raid shelter when he consumed a cyanide capsule also known as the suicide pill. He then shot himself with a pistol. His shelter contained 18 small rooms and was fully self-sufficient. He nearly never left it. His body is cremated in the chancellery garden.

    Overran West Germany. German finally collapsed. It will be later called the "Victory in Europe." It was the formal end of Hitler's six year misery reign

    America is the only nation to use atomic weaponry during wartime. They droped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. They wanted to end the war quickly without anymore casualitys. They always wanted to show off to the Soviets. This brought an end to WWII but many historians believe that it also ignited the Cold War.

    America dropped two atomic bombs. The combined of the impact of these bombs caused Emperor Hirohito to intervene and order an acceptance of terms for ending the war. Emperor Hirohito gave a recorded radio to address to the Empire. In this, he announced the surrender of the Empire of Japan to the Allies.
