    The battle of britain was germanys attempt to gain air superiority over England so that they could launch a seabourne attack against England. By the end of the long campaign germanys air force was decimated.

    Reruired men betweened the ages of 21 and 35 to register with local draft boards. When the United states entered World War 2 all men that were between the ages of 18 and 45 they were liable for military service and were required to register.
  • Stalingrad

    4million troops poured over the Russian border. Within one month, over two and half million Russians had been killed, wounded or captured. The Germans made tremendous advances into portions of Moscow, Leningrad, and Stalingrad.
