    This basically stuck a middle finger in Germany's face. After Germany surrendered in WWI, the treaty was passed. The treaty forced Germany to pay reparations to the affected regions of the war. 33 billion dollars was the begining figure for the reparations, even though Germany had no way to pay it.
    This is important because this is what caused WWII after a long while.
  • Hitler sent to prison

    Hitler sent to prison
    After Hitler had started his own Nazi group, and after they had unsuccessfully attempted to overthrow the German government, he wound up in jail. This turned out to be a good thing for Hitler. He used his case to spread the word of his soon all powerful political party.
    This is important because this lead to the real start of the nazi regiem. hitler would never be more powerful.

    When the stock market crashed! All hell broke loose! People went to the bank in a "bank run", to get their money and sell their stock! Although this just caused most of the banks to become bankrupped.
    This is important because people lost a lot of mney in the stock exchange, and eventually their jobs.

    When Nazi forces invade Poland on the north east south and west. They take over poland destroying a lot of lan in the process. The Polish army retreated and headed out of their country,
    This is important because this is the first large piece of land that the Nazi's annex. This is only the beginning!
  • France Surrenders to Germany

    France Surrenders to Germany
    The Battle of France didn't go to well, the French lost the battle and were pwned by Germans Blitzkrieg startegy. This consisted of instead of sending waves of infantry, bombers, and such , they would all be sent at the same time. This is the way many Nazi battles were fought. Blitzkrieg means "Lightning War" in german,
    this is important because frence was one of America's allys.

    Lend-Lease Act Passed
    When America agreed to give weaponry to the ally nations such as the soviet union, and france, to battle Germany, The act was passed during the great depression, which sounds like a bad idea, because the guns'n stuff were free, but it turned out to be a good idea.
    This is important because this gave the allied nations a final chance to beat Germany.
  • Japan Attacks Pearl Harbor

    Japan Attacks Pearl Harbor
    The Japanese army infiltrated Pearl Harbor, on the coast of Hawaii. They were undetected by the U.S naval soldiers, over 1000 American lives were lost. This was a very unexpected attack.
    This is important becsue THIS IS WHAT GOT US INTO WWII!!!

    When American troops attack the french coast on Normandy beach. Thousands of American troops were flown, or shipped there to fight for, take control of, and control Normandy.
    This is iportant because it was a very big win for American troops!
  • Battle of Iwo Jima

    Battle of Iwo Jima
    When America fought for the island of Iwo Jima, that was ruled by Japanese powers. We won, and took control of Iwo Jima. Even though the bunkers and bases on Iwo Jima were heavily fortified, the U.S troops were able to infiltrate them.
    This is important because this was a good part of the japenese army, and a triumpf of American troops.
  • FDR Dies

    FDR Dies
    FDR dies of a massive cerribral hemmerage (stroke) before a scheduled appearance. He said to his friend "I have a terrible pain in the back of my head", then slumped over in his chair.
    This is important because FDR was a great president, and lived through WWII!
  • Hitler Commits Suicide

    Hitler Commits Suicide
    After Hitler had found out he was losing the war, and would inevitabley lose the war eventually, he shot himselfe in a secret bunker, then he was burned outside the bunker.
    This is important because he was the Nazi leader! He was DEAD, F*****G DEAD!!! YAY, GO TEEM!!!
  • Atomic Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima

    Atomic Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima
    When the American troops dropped the first atomic bomb (used to kill enemies) on Hiroshima. The bomb killed hundreds of thousands of people in an instant. Albert Einstein helped construct the bomb.
    This is important because this ENDED THE WAR!!!
