    Allowing Hitler to take over Sudetenland was a part of other countries in Europe using appeasement to avoid conflict. Hitler wanted this area because it held Germans from before the WW1 new border lines were drawn and because of his want to eventually be world leader.

    The Japanese surprize attack on a U.S. naval base in Hawaii. Prior to this attack Japan seemed to be on good terms with the United States, and the U.S. took a big blow because of the lack of warning.

    This was the ivasion of the Phillipines islands by Japan. The U.S. helped defend the Phillipines. At one point the United States was defeated in the islands but later were able to reoccupy the area.

    This was a battle mostly fought between the Germans and soviets where the soviets outnumbered the Germans. the Germans were taking a large hit and losing the battle. Hitler admitted the loss of his army and committed suicide.
