Hitler, Chamberland, Daladier of France, and Mussolini of Italy met in Munic and came to an agreement that Hitler should have the Sudetanland of Czechoslovakia. The Czechs were not represented at the meeting and did not realize that no other country would come to their aid. -

Hitler attacks Russia - Operation Barbarossa
Hitler sent 3 million soldiers to Russia along with 3,500 German tanks to back them up. The Russians were surprised because they had siged a treaty with Germany in 1939. Stalin signed a mutuial treaty with Britian that claimed 20 million casualties. The U.S was supplying Britian with arms due to the "Lend Lease" agreement. -
