    The Holocaust was a time period where specifically Jewish people were hated by people called the Nazis. The Nazis did terrible things to jewish people andn kept them in places called concentration camps. The Nazis took away all of their personal belongings and labeled them with numbers. Millions of jews died during this time period.

    The Bell Aircraft Corporation was an aircraft manufacturer of the United States, a builder of several types of fighter aircraft for WWII. This aircraft helped the US fight in the war, and it made the Allied Powers stronger.

    The last thing that happened before Europe entered WWII was the German invasion of Poland. England and France had guaranteed that they would protect Poland's borders as they were in 1939. When Germany invaded, France and England kept their promise and declared war.

    The lend lease program was created on March 11th, 1941. FDR signed the bill to create it. The Lend-Lease Act was the principal means for providing U.S. military aid to foreign nations during World War II.

    Pearl Harbor was when Japan came to Hawaii and dropped bombs all over Pearl Harbor. This was when the united states joined WWII.

    D-Day for the invasion of Normandy was set for June 5, 1944, but it actually occurred on June 6. The invasion of Normandy was when the Allied powers invaded western Europe
  • YALTA CONFERENCE

    The Yatla Conference was a meeting of British prime minister Winston Churchill, Soviet premier Joseph Stalin, and President Franklin D. Roosevelt early in February 1945 as World War II was winding down.
  • FDR'S DEATH

    Roosevelt died on April 12, 1945. He died in warm springs, Georgia. He started complaining about a sharp pain in his back, and soon collapsed and became uncautious.

    Hitler committed suicide with his wife.He commits suicide by swallowing a cyanide capsule and shooting himself in the head. Soon after his death, Germany surrendered, ending Hitler's dreams.

    The US dropped a bomb on Haroshima as an act of revenge on Japan. Soon after they dropped the bomb, most regretted it. Americans went to Japan to help them recover.

    The US dropped a bomb on Nasaki, Japan. Soon after they dropped it, many people regretted it and felt bad. Many Americans went to Japan to help people recover.
  • UNITED NATIONS FORMED

    On January 1, 1942, representatives of 26 nations at war with the Axis powers met in Washington to sign the Declaration of the United Nations endorsing the Atlantic Charter, pledging to use their full resources against the Axis and agreeing not to make a separate peace.
