He was asked to wind up the extremist forces.<--> Second Anti-Jewish Law was passed. His goal was a peaceful revison. The Hungarian-Polish border remained open. April 3, 1941 Teleki committed suicide. He was aware of the failure of his policy. -
Invasion of Poland
4.45a.m the outbreak the WWII. German tanks, planes started the fight. They attacked Poland and after two weeks Russians also attacked them. German and Soviet Union separated Poland. -
Drifting to the war
Yugoslavia and Hungary concluded a Treaty of Eternal Friendship. Hitler attacked Greece. Hungary was asked to join the mission. The pressure coming from the army, Horthy and some of the prominent politicians was overwhelming. -

Hungary enters the war
The bombing of Kassa by three undentified planes. Became a pretext for the government to declare war on the Soviet Union. Several theories in connection with the attack. Probably the soviets by mistake, the target should have been Eperjes. -
Second Hungarian Army
The Second Hungarian Army was dispatched to the eastern front as well, which contained 200.000 soldiers + 50.000 Jews on labor force. They reached the Don River Bend area. -
