Russia fought against Hitler from August 23rd 1942 to February 1943. Russia lost troops and had to draft reinforcements to fight and dig and after all the fighting Russia took back Stalingrad and beat Germany.

    The Battle of Berlin started on April 16th 1945, Soviet Union rampaged into Berlin and started destroying. On April 20th, Hitler emerged from hiding and Berlin was blasted by an Air raid and a rush into the center of the city. The battle of Berlin ended on May 2nd 1945 by the surrender of Berlin but fighting went on until V-E day.

    On April 30th 1945, Adolf Hitler killed himself. He wrote a letter blaming jews for the start of the war and his generals for the loss of it. He turned 56 on April 20th and emerged from his bunker during the Fall of Berlin to award honor medals. He married his long term mistress the day before the suicide. He and his wife took cyanide and he shot himself.
