The attack resulted in the destruction of most of the U.S forces that immediately cased the United States to join the allied forces in the 2nd world war. -

This battle, which began the same time of the peal harbor attack, was fought for a small island in the central pacific which held a U.S submarine and airbase between invading Japanese forces and the U.S marines. The battle ultimately resulted in Japans victory and the destruction of the U.S base. -

The Doolittle raid was an air raid by the United States on the Japanese capital of Tokyo. This raid marked the air raid by U.S to strike Japan. The raid resulted in very little damage but helped to boost the American Moral in a low point of the war. -

Though, in this battle the U.S were successful in standing their ground against the Japanese, that helped turn the tide of war. -

This operation was a massive U.S navy air and surface attack on Truk island. The operation was conducted as part of the offensive against Japanese forces through the central Pacific Ocean during world war 2. The Americans were highly successful in obliterating Japanese forces and driving them back even further. -

The day in which allied forces invaded northern France controlled by the axis powers during world war 2. The allied powers successfully overwhelmed the German forces, driving them out of France. This battle was significant in that it was the first battle the axis powers had lost so severely on European soil. -

Operation Bagration, code name for the Soviet 1944 Belorussian Strategic Offensive Operation was a Soviet Union military campaign during world war 2. the operation successfully destroyed the German army group center. This was arguably the greatest disaster for Germany in world war 2, that helped lead to Germanys eventual defeat. -
Philippines campaign
The Philippines campaign was the American and Filipino campaign to defeat the Japanese who occupied the Philippines during world war 2. American forces were able to successfully reclaim and secure the Philippine, annihilating nearly 23 divisions of Japanese troops. -

Thought to be the largest and bloodiest single battle fought by the United States in World War II as both sides, the allies and the axis powers suffered great casualties, but ultimately the allied powers were successful. -
