    Battle of Brtain
At the time, Canada had a fledgling air force. Many Canadian pilots fought with the British military. Not trained as fighter pilots, Canadians had spent only 20 hours in their planes. Most had fired only once at a moving target. Canadian fighters realized too late that some of them had been firing on British, not German planes. And their inexperience proved deadly. Battle of Dieppe
The Battle of Dieppe was a test for the full-scale invasion of Western Europe. The raid on Dieppe would give the Allies a chance to test techniques and equipment for landing troops from the sea. This allowed relief supplies to reach Dutch citizens who had almost reached the end of their endurance the candians air-dropped the supplies for the dutch.I would gove this battle a 2 for significance.

    D-Day (Pt.1)
The Canadians were responsible for "Juno" in the center of the British front, establish a beachhead along the five miles between Courseulles and St-Aubin-sur-Mer, push through the gap between Bayeux and Caen, and penetrate to Carpiquet airfield some eleven miles inland. The Canadian achievements on D-Day were remarkable. By the end of the day the Canadian Division was well established on its intermediate objectives, and had progressed further inland than any of the Allies.
  • D-Day (Pt.2)
