It was located in Poland. The countries were the Soviet Unions and Nazi Germany. The importance is the invasion of Poland marked the beginning of WWII Germany used a new war tactic called the Blitzkrieg and attacked Poland from land and sky. Poland wasn’t prepared and made many mistakes. -

It was located in Britain, the countries were the United Kingdom and Germany. The importance was that this was the first battle in the history fought only in the air. This battle was for airspace and was fought by the Britain Royal Air Force and the Nazi Germany Air Force. Britain winning, prevented it from being taken over by Germany through ground forces. -
Operation Barbarossa
The location was Europe and the countries were the Axis Powers and the Soviet Russia. THe importance was the code name for the German invasion of Soviet Russia. Axis powers lost due to poor strategic planning. This lead Germany being forced into a two front war against people with way more and better for resource. -

It was located Pearl Harbor, Hawaii the countries involved were America and Japan. The importance was to make us declare war on japan and this brought us into WWII -

The location was Stalingrad, Russia and the combatants were Soviet Russia, Namibia Germany, and Axis Powers. The importance was the battle of Stalingrad and it was the largest battle of WWII and this battle was Germany’s first major loss in the war. Marked the and of Germany’s advances into Russia and Eastern Europe. -
Operation Torch
The location was French Morocco, French Algeria and the countries involved were US, UK, Germany, France, and Italy. The importance of it was this operation was the name used for the invasion of North Africa. The objective was to prevent the Axis Powers from taking over North Africa. The allied powers were able to hold off the invasion. -
Monte Cassino
The location was Monte, casino, Italy and the counties involved were the US, Germany, and Poland. The importance of this were the allied powers attempts to breakthrough Rome. Allied powers took down Italy and pushed the war in their favor. -
Normandy ( D-Day )
Then location was Normandy, France and the countries involved were the US, UK, Canada, Poland and Germany. Three importance was that it turned the war into a two front war that eventually lead to the Germans being surrounded. -

The location was Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Ardennes and the combatants were the US, Germany, UK, Canada, and Allied Powers. The importance of the this was that Germany’s laSt major battle and Hitler attempted to split allied powers before they could reach Germany. And Germany had used all their resources. -
Battle of Berlin
Location was Berlin, Germany, the countries involved were Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, and Poland. The importance was that it was the last major battle in Europe during WWII. The Germans Surrendered which marked the end of Adolf Hitlers rule, the battle left over a million Germans without homes, clean water, or food
